Northern Lights Design MN started as a hobby and something to do in my spare time where I can challenge my design and creative skills. I began designing and making items for our house and objects that I didn’t want to buy. Then friends and family began asking my favorite question, “do you think you could make this for me?” And I have a tough time saying no… Now it has delightfully spread to people I don’t even know!

I am a visual arts teacher at a high school in Saint Paul MN, and am happy I get to share my passion for creation and help students on their way to figure out how to make their creative thoughts a reality. I still find myself figuring out how to make something and am extremely satisfied when I have that “ah ha” moment, and equally proud when my students have that moment too.

Now with Northern Lights Design I plan on continuing to expand on my creations and try to be a jack of all trades in all mediums. I hope you will follow and enjoy my journey as much as I do.
